This study aims at investigating the employment problems and barriers facing the women in rural industries.The method of research is descriptive and the design is library -based. The data were collected by a questionnaire designed by the researcher and validated by a vast group of specialists and professors. The sample is women aging above 12. The reliability of the questionnaire was tested through Cronbach`s alpha that was 80.6 and the statistical analysis of data was done by spss software. The findings show that the costs of producing brocades does not have any effect on women`s employment in rural areas. The findings also show that generating revenue, improving financial status and helping economic independence nature of handicrafts have the most impact on women`s employment in selected area.
