The new towns were built as population of metropolitans had increased. It has happened in order to decentralized population as well as reduced economic, social, physical and environmental problems. Sadra new town is one of those towns that located just 15 km off of northwest of Shiraz. This study used descriptive - analytical studies and libraries as well as field studies. The approach was qualitative and quantitative in which gathering documentation and exploration of data has been done. This study tries to survey and assess the populating problems of Sadra in the planning horizon. Result shows that after almost 2 decade of approval of Sadra’s plan, it doesn't achieve the primary purpose in decentralization of Shiraz population. Accordingly there are dramatically distance between primary aims and the reality that happened. This study will give suggestions and recommendations to overcome obstacles and population attraction in this town.
