The issue related to the old areas is one of the fundamental and critical issues in urban planning that unfortunately they are less considered because of passing a long period of time and increasing the problems. This study attempts to examine the amount of spatial belonging effect on residents' involvement in reclaiming old neighborhoods of Kashan. Since residents' involvement of the neighborhood is one of another landmark topics that can have a key role on improving the condition of the neighborhood and diminishing important building; in addition, the place attachment and the sense of belonging in individuals create such a motivation and responsibilities that it makes them try to thoroughly improve their residence. The present study is descriptive-analytic which the data has been collected from a field study and questionnaires - asking people's ideas- in which the population is the people from neighborhoods including Sadre, Sare Fere and the sample size is 90 members of these neighborhoods. Then, in the next step, Structural Equation Modeling AMOS and SPSS have been used in order to analyze the given data, assessing reliability and validity, and calculating Cronbach's Alpha. The results found in this study indicate that spatial belonging with positive and direct impact factor (0/65) influences residents' involvement and also show that there are meaningful relationships between spatial belonging and residents' involvement. In other words, the increase in the sense of belonging leads to the increase in residents' involvement for improving the neighborhood's condition which following these factors have paved the ground for making logical strategies for reclaiming these areas.
